Handmade In Olympia, Washington

Every piece of pottery is handcrafted in my home studio. The pots are first thrown on my wheel and the glazing process is done in 2 to 3 steps. Each pot, necklace or earring pendant is fired in the kiln between three to four times.

I take pride in my craftsmanship. On all jewelry I offer free repairs for necklace chains and clasps, and earring components, during the first year.

Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing or commissioning a piece.  I look forward to taking commissions to translate my work into something personal for you.

About the Artist

Welcome to Windblown Pottery!

Work hand created by me,

Molly Merritt-Petersen.

I love my home here in the Pacific Northwest where I have lived for last 30 years.  My background is in painting with a splash of pottery in middle school and college. It wasn't until the summer of 2018 that I found myself reintroduced, and thoroughly addicted, to playing with clay.
